Financial and cancellation policy
What you pay, how you pay, and what happens if you cancel or miss an appointment. Every figure here is the same one used everywhere else on this site.
If you use insurance
With a plan we accept, you pay your plan’s normal copay or coinsurance, not the prices below. The plans we accept, and what each one covers, are on our insurance page. We check your coverage with you when we call you back, before anything is final.
If your plan is not one we accept, you pay our self-pay rate and we give you a superbill, a receipt you send to your plan to ask for part of the cost back. How out-of-network benefits work
If you pay yourself
- Individual therapy, 60-minute session: $75 to $150.
- Couples therapy, per session: $75 to $150.
- Reduced-rate session, availability varies: $75.
- Psychiatric evaluation, one appointment: $300.
- Medication management, follow-up visit: $150.
- Care Membership, per month, instead of paying per follow-up: $129. For self-pay psychiatry patients. A check-in with your prescriber every month and messaging between visits. Cancel any time.
- Group therapy, per session: $40.
- Intensive Outpatient Program, per 3-hour day: $300.
- IOP, 8-week package, paid up front: $6,000. Non-refundable. Use your 24 days within 12 weeks of your start date.
- Partial Hospitalization Program, per day: $450.
Therapy is quoted as a range. We confirm your exact rate on the call, before your first appointment.
Sliding scale
We offer sliding-scale rates for patients experiencing financial hardship. Eligibility and the reduced rate are worked out case by case, based on your circumstances. Call and ask; you do not need to explain yourself in writing first.
How you can pay
We accept credit cards, debit cards and cash.
Cancellations and missed appointments
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. For an individual or couples appointment, cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice is a $50 fee, and not showing up at all is a $100 fee. For group, the fee is $40. You also get a 15-minute grace period: if you have not arrived or joined by then, your clinician may mark it a no-show. Emergencies and genuinely unusual circumstances are handled case by case.
Good Faith Estimate
If you are paying yourself or using out-of-network benefits, you will receive a written Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost before your first appointment. That is your right under federal law.
