A small practice in Tempe

PATH Health Services is an outpatient behavioral health practice on Broadway Road, just east of Rural. We see adults across the East Valley.

We are deliberately small. That is not a positioning statement. It is the reason somebody can tell you on the phone what your first appointment will cost.

How care works here

Five things that are true of this practice and not of most larger ones. Each is checkable, which is the point.

The phone is answered in the building

During business hours you reach somebody who works here. No menu tree, no triage script, no call centre in another state.

You get the cost before the visit

We check your benefits while you are on the line and tell you the dollar figure. If we are out of network with your plan you hear it then, not in a bill afterwards.

You keep the same clinician

You are not rotated through whoever has availability that week. If the fit is wrong you can change, and nobody here takes it personally.

Your clinicians are colleagues

Therapy and psychiatric care happen under one roof, so your therapist and your prescriber can speak to each other directly.

We say when we are not the right place

If what you need sits outside what we do, you will hear that on the first call, along with where to try instead. A referral out is not a failed sale.

What the space is like

[CONFIRM: the waiting room in two or three plain sentences: how many seats, how quiet, whether there is a television, whether anyone is called by name]

Parking

Free on-site parking, including ADA-accessible spaces.

Getting in

The main entrance is the accessible entrance and has an automatic door opener. The route from the ADA-accessible parking spaces through the waiting room and into the clinical areas is step-free, with no raised thresholds and no narrow turns. Doorways are a minimum of 36 inches. Two accessible restrooms sit close to the waiting room. Service animals are welcome.

Working here

We are currently accepting applications for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) roles.

We would rather hear from somebody who read the rest of this page and recognised the way we work than from somebody sending the same letter to forty practices.
